HerdGuard is currently in early development and is preparing for early pilot deployments. Features, capabilities, interfaces, pricing, availability, and roadmap items described on this site may change without notice. Information presented here is for general informational purposes and does not constitute a commitment, warranty, or offer of service.

HerdGuard is designed for internet-connected farm camera zones. Initial deployments require still-image capture from cameras with reliable internet connectivity to send images to the HerdGuard cloud-assisted analysis pipeline. HerdGuard does not currently claim built-in WAN/LTE hardware, off-grid operation, on-device (edge) AI, real-time video surveillance, or fully autonomous protection as present-tense features.

AI-assisted detection is probabilistic. HerdGuard may produce false positives, false negatives, missed events, or delayed alerts. Network outages, camera failures, weather, lighting, obstructions, animal behavior, or third-party service disruptions can prevent detection or alert delivery.

NightVyper LLC makes no guarantee that any specific predator, animal, person, vehicle, event, or threat will be detected, classified correctly, or surfaced as an alert.

HerdGuard is an observation, detection, and review platform. It does not physically intervene with animals, people, or property.

NightVyper LLC makes no guarantee regarding prevention of property loss, animal loss, livestock injury or death, personal injury, theft, or any other harm or damage. Use of HerdGuard does not reduce your responsibility to take appropriate protective measures.

HerdGuard is not a substitute for:

• Emergency services, including law enforcement and animal control.
• Professional security services or monitored alarm systems.
• Sound animal husbandry practices and routine inspection.
• Adequate fencing, enclosures, lighting, or guardian animals.
• Direct human supervision when required.
• Veterinary, legal, agricultural, insurance, or other professional advice.

You are solely responsible for the safety and welfare of your animals, property, employees, family, and visitors. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.

Any future features, integrations, model improvements, hybrid inference options, edge AI options, additional connectivity kits, or commercial offerings discussed on this site are forward-looking. They are not commitments and may change, be delayed, or be cancelled at any time.

You may not use this site or any HerdGuard platform feature to harass, harm, surveil, or unlawfully monitor any person. You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction, including laws governing cameras, recording, data protection, wildlife, and livestock.

The site, the HerdGuard brand, the HerdGuard logo, and related materials are owned by NightVyper LLC or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from them except as expressly permitted in writing.

Some functionality relies on third-party providers (for example, cloud hosting, email delivery, and an external vision provider). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. NightVyper LLC is not responsible for third-party content or services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NightVyper LLC, its owners, officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, animal injury or loss, livestock loss, property damage, or personal injury arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or any pre-release version of HerdGuard.

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any material changes. Continued use of the site after a change is posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
